The non-partisan Georgia Democracy Task Force is an extension of the American Bar Association’s Task Force for American Democracy.
Established in February 2024 and committed to acting on the next steps identified at the ABA Task Force's listening session in Atlanta, we are hard at work, activating our network of legal professionals to fulfill their unique obligation to protect election integrity in Georgia by upholding the rule of law and reminding other lawyers of their oath-bound duty to do the same.
Download and share the comments our task force submitted to the Georgia State Election Board on recent proposed rule changes and new rules, and Amicus Curiae filed pursuant to State Election Board proceedings.

Election lawsuits are flooding the courts, aiming to alter voting rules in crucial states—based on unfounded claims of widespread fraud.
In response, past presidents of national, state, and local bar associations are sounding the alarm now that our courts must remain grounded in facts, not theory.
In their open letter, they urge lawyers to uphold the rule of law, warning that unfounded cases risk our democratic foundations. Download and share their urgent message and see why ethical standards in our legal system are essential to protecting the integrity of our democracy.
